František Ženíšek 25.5.1849 (Prague) - 15.11.1916 (Prague) - member of so called "National Theatre generation"education: Academy of Fine Arts in Prague (Eduard Engerth) and in Vienna work: "academic" surrealism with patriotic interest; painting of allegories and Czech history themes; painter of the 1st National Theatre curtain (and other Theatre designs and decorations); author of "lunetas" for the National Museum.exhibitions: recent large author exhibition in 2005/2006 in Valdštejnská jízdárna.
